Once you’ve unboxed your new device, connect it to a power source and turn it on to start the setup process.
- Select your Country/Region

- You will then be prompted to choose your keyboard layout and language preferences. (You will also be asked if you wish to add a second keyboard layout, please select the options relevant to you)

- Next you will be prompted to connect to your WIFI network, choose the network and enter the password before clicking ‘Continue’
- Once your laptop establishes a connection to your WIFI network your device will check for any required updates and may perform a restart.
-
(Please note this can take up to 5 minutes to download the required updates, a short wait is to be expected at this step…)
- You will then be prompted with a ‘Welcome to orgvue!’ screen asking for your email address where you need to enter your Orgvue email address in firstname.surname@orgvue.com format.
- You will. Then be prompted to enter your password and click ‘Next’
- You will then be taken to ‘Setting up your device for work’ screen This will take 15-20 minutes to complete. (This is where your device configuration, applications and setup is performed)
- Next you will be asked to sign into your device, your username will be in firstname.surname@orgvue.com and your newly created password. An account Setup wizard will run for a few minuites to finalise account setup on the device.
- The final step of the setup wizard is to configure ‘Windows Hello’ this is an alternate way to sign in to your device by using a pin instead of a password. To set this up click ‘Yes, set up’
You will then be given further information about the ‘Windows Hello’ service, click ‘Ok’ to proceed.
Next you will need to set your facial recognition and pin this is what you will use to login to your device instead of your password moving forward.
Once created you will get an ‘All Set’ message confirming your Windows Hello was successfully setup.

- You will then be taken to your Desktop where you can proceed with setting up MFA as detailed in the section below.
MFA SETUP
We pre-configure your MFA for the setup process using your mobile number to receive a text message for authentication. However, moving forward this is not the most efficient way to manage Multifactor Authentication Requests.
Instead, you can set this up to receive a push notification via an App we recommend the Microsoft Authenticator app for the most seamless experience. However, we understand you may prefer an MFA app you are currently using and can enrol there if you wish.
- Firstly, you will need to open your browser ‘Microsoft Edge’ and navigate to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
- You will see your Mobile is the only option listed:
- Select ‘Add Sign-In Method’ and select ‘Microsoft Authenticator’ (You will need to select this even if you wish to use another MFA App)
- Ensure you have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your phone. (If you want to use another app select ‘I want to use a different authenticator App’)
- Once you’ve pressed next, you’ll get prompted by the following screens. If you press next until you must scan the QR Code.
- On your phone open the Microsoft Authenticator App and select ‘Work or school account’, from here you can scan the QR code and your authenticator app will have the email address and authentication key with it. (If using another app just scan the QR Code)
- Click Next and you will be sent a test notification to confirm this is setup (If using another app will need to enter the OTP shown in the app)
- From here you’ll be prompted to test the authentication to confirm that it is active. You will need to press next when prompted as the images below demonstrate and you will get notified within the authenticator app on your phone.
Enter the number shown on your laptop and click Yes. You will then get a confirmation setup is complete, you can then close the Edge window you have open on your laptop and all authentication requests will now be sent via Push Notifications to your app.
